Secrets Revealed...

So the old Secret Museum of the Air show that was on WMFU, has almost all its episodes archived and available for listening pleasure. I believe you can even download a couple. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Citizen Kafka and curator Pat Conte scour the world of international 78 rpm recordings to bring you the Secret Museum of Mankind. This program is no longer being produced but we're happy to re-run it as a podcast.

NEW TRACK.

So I guess being snowed in can have its benefits, because I created a mediafire account and uploaded 1 track from the stuff I have been recording. It is as of yet Untitled, and the SQ will be a little low, so apologies.

thanks for listening.

copy and paste link, sorry I couldnt get it to work

Snowed Inside

Show the other night was great on all fronts, both people present and people performing. It brought forth the release of an edition of 10 hand painted/ink drawing covered tapes with demo versions of songs for the Chemosynthesis record. While I have been trapped I have been recording for the aforementioned release, so far I have about 6 songs done, that all could use a decent mixing. Today I will record at least one more, and rerecord this song of which I didn't really like the way it came out. Maybe I can even find out how to put some music up on this thing.

As I am typing this, the snow is back at it, in heavy doses, at least it is not the ice that plagued us a week back.

recommended LPs for those snowed in...
Ancestors - I
Clive Palmer - Just Me (CD)
Incredible String Band - Balmore Hoard Recordings (CD)
CSNY - Deja Vu
Burzum - Filosofem
Vishwa Mohan Bhatt - Maestros Choice (CD)

Washington Phillips - What Are they Doing in Heaven Today?
Country Joe and the Fish - Feel like I'm Fixin to Die
Walknut - Graveforests and their Shadows (CD)

This is my first show since the show in Pittsfield that was on or around November 7th, looks like a good time...

Have been diving into the collected works of Aleister Crowley, and i leave you with this...

Since here is nothing for the soul to love
Or cling beyond self. My chamberlain
Once showed me a pet slave, dwarf, savage, black,
A vile, lewd creature, who would cast a staff
Far wheeling through the air:-'twould suddenly
Break its swift course, and curving rapidly
Come hard upon himself who threw. Even so
These vile deformities-our souls-cast forth
Missiles of thought, and seek to reach some end
With swift imagining-and end of self.
What sage called God the image of man's self
He sees cast dimly on a bank of cloud,
Thrice his own size? And I whose life has been
